Paper art
Process
Sandrina's process begins on walks, where she collects and dries flowers, leaves, and seeds. These fragments become the starting point for intuitive collages. Through papercutting techniques, new forms and stories unfold, which she enriches with layers of watercolor, embroidery, graphic print, and colored pencil. Each work grows organically, layer by layer, into a composition where nature and imagination merge.

Storytelling
Learning to live with change and searching for calm and grounding are recurring threads in her work. By immersing herself in what nature offers – the stillness of winter plants, the buzzing of pollinators, the hidden work of decay, the rhythm of the seasons, the mystery of seeds, and the wondrous world of grasses, flowers, birds, and insects – she uncovers the infinite layers that nature holds.
These layers also reflect the world we live in: a polarizing, often elusive reality with little room for otherness. Nature, like humanity, carries within it an important message: a reminder of our interconnectedness, our resilience, and our ability to begin again
